Stratford on Avon tennis Section prides itself on the quality and standard of its tennis. There are 7 courts, 4 textile and 3 artificial grass, which are maintained through contractual agreements with qualified court maintenance companies; supplemented by the dedication of a small band of enthusiastic members. Floodlighting is available on 5 courts. One court is dedicated for junior members and this court also has a rebound wall. Independent seating is available for match viewing on all courts. The Tennis section has its own pavilion with a kitchen, recreation room and changing facilities available to all members and visitors. Security is controlled by electronic access cards.
The Tennis section is part of the Stratford Sports Club and members are automatically entitle to use the main sports club house. This includes sports bar, wide screen satellite TV and a restaurant service.
The Tennis Pavilion is situated adjacent to the main courts. It has kitchen and changing facilities, A selection of tennis racquets and tennis items can be purchased from our coaches office.
SLTC is part of the Stratford Sports Club. The sports club has 5 sections in addition to Tennis - Hockey, Cricket, Squash, Athletics and Snooker . Multi-sport memberships are available at reduced rates from normal section fees.
We have 7 courts of high quality carpet, 5 of which are floodlit . A comprehensive maintenance programme is in place, which ensure that our facilities are maintained to the highest standards.
